Daisy Marie Carico Mitchell went to be with the Lord and loved ones on Sunday, December 10, 2023. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. A true Christian. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; her husband, Charlie Paul Mitchell; son-in-law, Silas D. McCracken; sister, Bertie McCoy, brother, Beecher Mitchell, and honorary sister, Opal Ring.

Surviving is one daughter, Evelyn Mitchell McCracken of St. Paul, VA. one granddaughter, Karen McCracken Salyers of Coeburn, VA., sisters, Annette (Tilden) Skeens of Kingsport, TN., Mae (the late Carson) Wise of Kingsport, TN., brothers Carlos (the late Sheila) Mitchell of St. Paul, VA., Lester (the late Patricia Ann) Mitchell, and Ronnie (Laverene) Mitchell of Nora, VA., special friends, Marie Holbrook and Goldie Ann Deel; several nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn, VA. with Pastor Shane Keith officiating.
