Coy Williams Collins, 82, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell Kedric Collins and Martha Pearl Collins; wife, Phyllis Ann Belcher Collins; two brothers, James Edward Collins and Larry Wayne Collins; and one sister, Marlene Mullins.

Surviving are children, William Collins and wife Cheryl, Sherry Collins McClellan, Nancy Collins Russell, Robin Collins Fultz and husband Timothy, and Angela Collins Smith and husband Jeff; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Roy Collins and wife Dorothy of Raymond, Washington and Jerry Collins and wife Erma of Wise, VA; sisters, Lillian Mullins and husband Ray of Wise, VA and Judy Maggard and husband Danny of Pound, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Coy Collins will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Greg Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
