Cossie Mullins, 75, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Hazel Mullins; sisters, Joe Burnice, Ruthie Kilgore, Trudy Stewart, and Naomi Sartin.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara J. Mullins; daughter, Tonya Dorsett and husband Tim of Norton, VA; sons, Shawn Mullins and wife Sarah of Wise, Dwayne Mullins and wife HanJae of Huntsville, AL, and Chris Mullins and girlfriend, Birdell of Norton, VA; grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, T.J., Hannah, Shawn Jr, Hunter and Kaitlyn; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Frand Mullins and Berth Smith of Wise, Regina Mullins of Lee County, Ronda Lewis of Pound, VA, Nancy Whited of Blountville, TN and Carrie Raflaff of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Billy Mullins, Johnny Mullins and James Otis of Pound, VA, Merdie Mullins and Connie, and Roy Mullins of Wise, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Cossie Mullins will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Phillip Hunt officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. We will be following state mandated social distancing and occupancy. Masks will be required and will not be supplied by the funeral home or the family.
