Clifford "David" Skeen, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 11, 2024.

David was a graduate of J.J. Kelly High School, where he excelled in playing football. He was one of the team members who won the State Championship in 1981.

David was an U.S. Army Veteran of 3 years during which time he was stationed in Germany.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Emma Mae Skeen of Wise.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Roger Skeen (Debbie) of Pound, Sandy Bolling (Larry) of Wise, Janice Thompson of Norton and Wendell Skeen (Linda) of Big Stone Gap; uncle, Junior Sloan (Judy) of Marshall VA; aunts, Eloise Porter, Iva Greene and Betty Skeen, all of Wise; several nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends.

Burial will be held in the Smith-Gilliam Cemetery. All services will be private.
