Clifford Garil Boggs, Sr., 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Louisville, KY.

Clifford was born in Pound, VA to the late Clauda Swanson Boggs and Ada Mullins Boggs. Clifford proudly served in the United States Army for 28 years, with three of those years in Active Duty.

He attended Capital Baptist Church in Frankfort, Ky for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and four brothers.

Clifford is survived by his loving wife, of 69 years, Carol Ruth Boggs; three children, Trish Boggs Daniel (Warren), Cliff Boggs (Evangeline), and Ericia Dykes (David); ten grandchildren, Nicole Daniel, Rachel Daniel, Whitney Casteel (Cody), Alex Boggs (Sarah), Adam Boggs, Ruth Dykes, Elisabeth Dykes, Seth Dykes, Faith Dykes, and Joseph Dykes; six great-grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services with Military Rites for Clifford Boggs will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA. Burial will follow in the Boggs Family Cemetery in Pound, VA. Family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. till time of services at 11:00 A.M.
