NORTON, VA.                                                JULY 2, 2022

Cleo Niece Stallard, 84, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home on Guest River.

She was of the Primitive Baptist Faith and was a member of Little Stone Gap Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy V. Stallard; parents, Eula Thacker and Clarence Niece; two brothers, Mitchell Niece and Ronald Thacker and one sister, Alta Collins.

Surviving are her five children, Larry (Teresa) Stallard, Teresa (Allen) Collins, Darrell Stallard, Jimmy (Crea) Stallard and Deborah (David) Boles; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Wendell Thacker, Gerald Thacker and Gary Thacker; sister, Christine Shupe and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Cleo Stallard will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Monday, July 4, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Elder Aaron Williams officiating. The Family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. till time of services at 4:00 P.M. Monday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA. Burial will follow. Family and friends will meet at 10:10 A.M.
