Cheryl Kilgore, 63, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
She attended Hubbard's Chapel Church in Pound, Va.
Cheryl loved spending time with her grandbabies, Adele and Ivy. Her passion was watching Alabama Football, Setting in the sun at the beach or beside the pool and watching her grandbabies play sports.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vonda Slemp; uncle, Truman Gilliam and uncle and aunt, Youell and Helen Mullins.
Surviving are her husband, Rod Kilgore; daughters, Wrynn Dingus and husband Matt and Haley Phelps; two grandbabies, Adele and Ivy; siblings, Scott Slemp and wife Cindy, Diane Salyer and Chigger and Susie Mullins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Cheryl Kilgore will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, Va with Rev. Billy Hibbitts and Rev. Allen Graham officiating. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sturgill Funeral Home P.O. Box 1068 Wise, Va 24293 or by calling with CC 1-276-679-0048.
