Charlie E. Couch, 81, departed this life to receive his heavenly reward on
August 21 ", 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bernice (Tince) Couch:
brother, Joe Couch and sister, Katherine Hensley.

Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Faye Couch; son, Kevin Couch and wife,
Belinda; granddaughter, Stephanie Peltier and husband, Seth; siblings: Sue
Maples, Diane Bond, Bill (Liz) Couch and Pat Adkins; special nephew, Todd
(Thelma) Bond along with several other nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Charlie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a
retired employee of Clinchfield Coal Company. He served as an associate
pastor at the Pine Camp Church of God of Prophecy in Coeburn, VA where he
was a faithful member for 40 years. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman who
enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. However, the hallmark of
Charlie's life was his unwavering faith and commitment to leading others to Christ.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 24th, 2024, from 12:00 PM- 2:00
PM at Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn. Funeral service will
follow in the chapel with Pastor Curtis Bond and Reverend Joseph Buchanan
officiating. Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Acres Cemetery in
Coeburn, VA at the conclusion of the chapel service.
