Carolyn Deel Bond, 57, took her final journey home on March 21, 2022, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center Knoxville, TN.

Carolyn was operations manager of Telemed call center for 21 years, operating locations in Wise, Johnson City, TN, Atlanta, GA. Where she made many close and memorable friendships.

Carolyn was Little Miss Coeburn in 1972. She was involved with Relay for Life, and a huge supporter of cancer research. She was a friend and mentor to many of her past and present employees as well as family and neighbors.

Carolyn felt her greatest accomplishment was her duties as mother, and Nana to her 3 grandchildren that she loved with all her heart and referred to them as her life. Carolyn loved her family very much.

Surviving is her husband, Terry Bond of Coeburn, son, Josh Bond and wife, Ashley of St. Paul, mother and father, Fred & Teresa Deel of Coeburn, sister, Lisa Deel Odle of Coeburn, brother, Fred Deel Jr. and wife, Mona of Coeburn, mother-in-law, Barbara Bond of Coeburn, sister-in-law, Lisa Bond Sanders and husband, Jeff; three grandchildren, Hadley, Hunter, and Tanner Bond, two nieces, Jessica Odle Clark and husband, Nathan, and Kinsey Hall Bise and husband, Jordan, nephew, Jason Deel and wife, DiAnna; great niece who she adored Hannah Ratliff; special friends, Betty Neisler, and Jenny Kimbrele; as well as a host of her Telemed family and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2022, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, Va. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. R.L. Crawford officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Saturday, March 26, 2022, in the Laurel Grove Cemetery Norton, VA. The family and friends will meet at 10:15 A.M.
