WISE, VA.                                         May 20, 2023

Carol Hampton Seifried, at the age of almost 102, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the home of her daughter-in-law, Cindy Colyer Hampton.

Carol was a native of Wise County and retired as a co-owner from Hampton's Discount Center in Coeburn, VA. She spent most winters in Vero Beach, Florida. She was a devout Christian and never missed an opportunity to witness to someone about how good her God was. She was a member of Nash's Chapel Baptist Church in Wise, VA and Pelican Pointe Women's Club in Vero Beach, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kermit T. Hampton and Charles Seifried; loving son, David K. Hampton; mother, Mary A. Stidham and sister, Coma A. Tiller.

Surviving are her loving daughter-in-law, Cindy Colyer Hampton; adored granddaughter, Tiffany Lee Hampton (Hunter); four beloved and cherished great-grandchildren, Landon David, Elijah Patrick, Tessabelle Pauline and Ariella Grace; a very special cousin, G.F. Austin and wife Jeanne; 2 fur grandchildren, Halli and Elmo and a host of special friends and family.

Graveside services for Carol Seifried will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens 19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210 with Scott Gillenwater officiating. Burial will follow. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for services.
