Brenda Kay Stallard went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2026, in Bristol Regional Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Coeburn, Virginia, Brenda was the daughter of Hubert Mullins and the late Corine Mullins. She spent most of her life in Coeburn, where she was deeply known, loved, and appreciated by countless friends, neighbors, and family members throughout the community. Brenda devoted many years of service as an accountant for the Lenowisco Health District, where she was respected for her dedication, kindness, and quiet strength.

Brenda will be remembered for her love for her family, her strong faith, and the caring heart she shared with everyone around her. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy throughout her life.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Corine Mullins.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Jerry Stallard; her sons, John Stallard and wife Christy, and Jared Stallard and wife Maggie; her loving father, Hubert Mullins; her sister, Joyce Helton; her niece, Sonya Farmer and husband Tony; her treasured grandchildren, Kelsie Riner, Kristen Price, Kennedy Stallard, Ian Stallard, Jaylynn Stallard, and Juliana Stallard; and her precious great-grandchildren, Lane Riner, Nora Price, and Gracie Riner. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 10, 2026, 12 P.M.  until 2:00 P.M. at Sturgill Funeral Home. 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Services will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor R.L. Crawford officiating.

A committal service will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Flowers are welcome as a loving tribute to Brenda's memory.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
