Brenda Sue Porter, 68, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.

Brenda will always be a beloved mother, amazing grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with family. She was a member of the Wise Church of God of Prophecy before transferring to the Herald Church of God of Prophecy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison & Bonnie Porter, bonus granddaughter, Brooke Morgan, niece, Jessica Buchanan.

Surviving are her daughters, Aimie (Frankie) Morgan of Coeburn, VA., and Emilee (Billy) Chandler of Big Stone Gap, VA. grandchildren, Daniel Edwards of Coeburn, VA. Bryson, and Bailee Mullins; Abbie Chandler; sisters, Belinda (Kevin) Couch; Kathy (Joe) Buchanan; brothers, Bob Porter, and Walter (Margaret) Porter all of Coeburn, VA. a special niece, Kimberly Freeman and grand dog, Bear; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Big Stone Gap, Va.
