Brandon Noah Cantrell, 24, departed this life and went home to be with Jesus on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Brandon was born to Cecil and Christy Cantrell in Wise, VA. He graduated from Central High School in 2019 and went on to work with his father, then started his own company, Cantrell Contracting LLC where he worked in construction alongside his father. Brandon loved music, cooking, Alabama football and spending time with his friends and family. Brandon was loved more than words can explain, by all who knew him. He was a beloved son and grandson, the best brother, the fun Uncle, and the best friend to all who were blessed to know him. He was full of life and had the best smile.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ola and Eva Cantrell; his honorary grandmother, (Great Aunt) Dorsie Skeen; and his Great Aunt, Lena Frye who made him gravy and biscuits.

Left to carry on his memory are his parents, Cecil and Christy Cantrell; big brother, Cecil Tyler Cantrell (Hannah); two nephews, Cecil Jace Cantrell and Mason Tyler Cantrell; little brother, Caleb Dalton Cantrell and wife Olivia; nephew, Grady Noah Hayes Cantrell due in August; Mamaw, Debbie Flanary; and Grandfather, Sidney Flanary Sr; Five special friends who were like brothers, Patrick Labong, Seth Robinson, Brent Graham, Nick Fleming, and Mason Sluss; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Brandon Noah Cantrell will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Ola Gene Cantrell officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
