Billy Bullion, 79, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Billy was of the Christian Faith, worked 23 years for Paramont Mining and retired from Tempur-Pedic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lillie Bullion; son, Jeffrey Bullion; sister, Anna Schoolen; and a brother, James Bullion.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Velma Bullion; son, Randy Bullion (Tammy); daughter, Lisa Johnson (Jim); son, Darrell Freeman; grandchildren, Rebecca Haney (Heath), Crystal Ricketts (David), Brittany Bullion, Megan Valencia (Bruno), Haley Boyd (Tyler), Erica Swan, Darren Freeman (Felicia) and Brett Freeman (Mia); great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Alex, Adi and Jacob; sisters and brothers, Mary Johnson (Ervin), Ada Yarbrough, Kyle Bullion, Sue Revere, Elenore Hall and Robert Bullion (Barb); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Billy Bullion will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Mike Jordan and Rev. Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Big Stone Gap, VA. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M.
