Billie Jo Cox beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Aunt, "Granny" and Friend, passed
into eternal Paradise Saturday October 22, 2022, at the blessed age of 93. Billie was
born October 20, 1929, to the late Elbert and Julia Clay and was proceeded in death
by her husband Gale Cox and sister Dorothy Quillen.

Billie left behind her brother Charlie Clay, her three adoring sons Nathan Cox
(Kelly), Douglas Cox, Matthew Cox (Jennifer) three cherished grandsons Rivver
Cox (Alston), Parker Cox and Will Cox.

Billie was devoted to her beautiful family. She loved God and spending time with
her three beloved sons, three grandchildren, family, and friends. Billie loved
planting a garden and traveling with her son Douglas. She was gifted with a
calming humble spirit that was an inspiration to all who knew her. Billie was a
kind and gentle soul who will be missed terribly by everyone who loved her. Our
lives are forever changed but we have a promise that we can be with her again.
Our loss is Heaven's gain. Billie's beloved family would like to thank all who loved,
cared, visited, and prayed for her during her lifetime. A special thank you to care
givers Edith King and Christy Burke, Mountain View Hospital, NHC and Caris
Care for their loving care and attention.

A Celebration of Life Service for Billie Jo Cox will be held 5 P.M. Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Rural Missionary Baptist Church 4827 Robinette Road Coeburn, VA. 24230 with pastor Johnny Adkins officiating.
