Betty Sue Moore, 69. passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center after an extended illness with her loving family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Wayne Moore, parents, Ellen & Henry Grubbs, sisters, Mallie Roark, Della Gailey, and Martha Rogers, brothers, Thurman Napier, and Irvin Rogers.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Randall) Meade, Sherry Moore, and Angie (Derrick) Hampton, sister, Soffie McClain, brothers, Lee Robert Grubbs, and Garfield Grubbs, six grandchildren, Kiera Harding, Brandon Meade (Katie Wyres), Sabrina (Corey) McReynolds, Alex Hampton, Marissa Meade, and Nick Collins, four great grandchildren, Ezra Harding, Gracie Harding, Chesney Meade, and Zander Meade. One coming soon, Kambree Meade, several nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7, 2022, 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Willie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn, VA.
