Betty Jane Mullins Cantrell, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

She attended Duncan Gap Freewill Baptist Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents James Tilden and Hettie Adams Mullins; brothers, Leroy Mullins, Claude Mullins, James (Slick) Mullins; sister, Nora Ellen Mullins Cantrell; beloved daughter-in-law, Beverly Jean Weaver Cantrell and son-in-law, Gary Morton Carroll.

Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Thelmer Lee Cantrell; sons, Billy Cantrell, Roger Cantrell and wife Sandy; daughters, Norma Cantrell Carroll, Phyllis Cantrell Payne and husband Danny; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for Betty Jane Cantrell will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Ola Gene Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cantrell Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M.
