Alvonia Miller, 84, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 after a brief illness.

She was a member of Bethel Chapel Church, where she served as Sunday School Secretary for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.T. Miller; a daughter, Betty Jean Miller Lane; her parents and two brothers.

Surviving are her daughter, Janice Weaver and husband Stephen; three grandchildren, Andora Reed and husband Stephen, Jason Lane and wife Mandy and Noah Weaver; four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

All services will be private. Burial will be held in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital – P.O.
