Barbara Sue Greene, 88, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Coeburn, VA on Monday, May 8, 2023.

She loved her children, and her grands were the lights of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel (Snook) Greene; son Tony Greene; Great-grandson Mason Dutton; Parents Frank and Betty Ball; Sisters Bernice Ball, Lillian Odom, Doris Gibson, Ruby Dean, Jeanette Large and Brenda Gail Greene; a special niece Edith Smith

Surviving are her daughters: Darlene McConnell (husband David), Rosemary Little (husband Darrel), Betsy Little (husband Con), Kay Winebarger (husband Ernie), Lucy Carty (husband Billy), and Becky Stout; a special great-niece Mariana Higgins

Twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one sister, Donna Large; one brother, Freddie Ball.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 12, 2023, 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Billy Carty officiating, Burial will follow in the Brownlow-Rose Cemetery Coeburn, VA.
