WISE, VA.                                    SEPTEMBER 21, 2022

Arthur Nile Gilliam, of the Hurricane section of Wise, VA, loving father, grandfather and brother was 76 years old and went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2022. He had lived his life in pain from the shrapnel from being hit by mortar in Vietnam.

Surviving are his son, Arthur Nile Gilliam (Carrie Collins); granddaughter, Christine Frances Gilliam; grandsons, Austin Gilliam and Jeffrey Gilliam; brothers, Wendell Adkins and Wallace Gilliam; sisters, Freida Harris, Kay Buchanan, Judy Glenn and many cousins and friends.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery 53 Memorial Ave. Johnson City, TN, Burial will follow. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 A.M. at the cemetery.
