Anthony Shannon McFarland, 49, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center Johnson City, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Carrol McFarland, attended the Happy Valley High School Elizabethton, Tennessee and was an avid fisherman.

Surviving is his mother, Kathleen Kennedy; two sisters, Kimberly (Michael) Arwood, and Stephanie (Danny) Osborne; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted 1 P.M. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in the Ray Kennedy Cemetery 6669 DC Caney Ridge Road Coeburn, Virginia 24230 with Robert Amburgey officiating.
