Annie Ruth Jones Sargent, 68, loving wife of 45 years, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was a member of Beverly Hills Assembly of God Church in Wise, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Jones Sr. and Julia Ruhanna Baldwin Jones; and two brothers, Charles Jones Jr. and Troy Daniel Jones.

Surviving are her loving husband of 45 years, Jerry Sargent; son, Daniel Collins and wife Cheryl; two grandchildren, Destiny Mullins and Amber Collins; two great-grandchildren, Caden and Walker; sister, Kathy Jones Collins and Douglas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Annie Sargent will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Greg Bowman and Perry Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Gap Cemetery in Norton, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M.
