Annie Marie Moore, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

She attended Stevens Chapel Church in Wise, VA and Mt. View Church where she loved helping with VBS and the youth program. She was a member of Mt. View Helping Hands making lap quilts for veterans and the cancer center.

She loved to work in her flower and vegetable gardens and canning.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Moore; her parents, Melvin and Malissie Hubbard; three brothers, Cletis Hubbard, Charles Hubbard and William Hubbard; and two sisters, Bea Shell and Anna Belle Wilson.

Surviving are her son, Wayne Moore and wife Elizabeth; grandson, Jeremy Moore and wife Rachel of Norton, VA; great-grandson, Nickolas Moore; great-granddaughters, Sophia Moore and Stella June Moore; three sisters, Lola Horton, Betty Clark and Charlene Powers; and a host of other loving family including her nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her wonderful caregivers who loved her like their own, Donna Ray, Beth Ellis, Tina Clay and Carolyn Shell.

Funeral services for Annie Marie Moore will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Jack Blanton and Rev. Mike Jordan officiating. Graveside committal services and burial will follow in the Mountain View Church Cemetery in Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
