Anita Mae Jones, 63, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, in the Holston Valley Medical Center Kingsport, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Gladys Cox; a brother, John Cox; three sisters, Nancy Taylor, Edith Phillips, and Mary Cox and she attended the Stevens Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving is her son, Thomas (Latisha) Jones Jr.; her former husband, Thomas G. Jones Sr., three brothers, John Cox, Billy (Roxie) Cox, and Thurman (Steva) Cox Sr.; three sisters, Margaret Powers, Teresa (Scott) Salyers, and Carolyn Underwood; two grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the Cox Cemetery Wise, VA. with Rev. Jack Blanton officiating. Friends will meet at the cemetery for service.
