With deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Angela Kelly, 67, on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Surrounded by her family, she passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of kindness and compassion that will forever be etched into the hearts of those she touched.

A Lighthouse Life. Born in West Virginia to Edward and Matilda Kelly, Angela spent her life as a "lighthouse". A follower of Christ, A dedicated Nurse, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Daughter and Mentor. She answered a calling of compassion within the darkest of rooms. She was a constant source of calm and hope. From people that knew her, she poured from a cup that was only filled by faith. One that always found the beauty In between heartbeats.

She was a fierce supporter, a steady hand in every storm, and a woman who truly lived the value of putting others before herself. She was a lighthouse of safety, support, strength. "If Heaven is filled with women like this one. I believe he's doin pretty good."

She was preceded in death by her mother, Matilda Mae Cline Kelly and father, Edward Lilburn Kelly; brother, Michael Dale Kelly; paternal grandparents, Rolley and Nora Kelly; and maternal grandparents, George and Bessie Cline.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Seth and Holly Sargent of Fulks Run, VA and Reuben Sargent of Wise, VA; sister, Elaine and Jay Swiney of Appalachia VA; her adored grandchildren, Julie, Kadence, Elizabeth, Ryker, Gracie, Darah and Evah; her great-grandchildren, Kenna and Riley; and she also leaves behind many dear friends who were blessed by her unwavering kindness.

Funeral services for Angela Kelly will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Jim Smith officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in the Rolley Kelly Cemetery in Clintwood, VA. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home to go the cemetery in procession.
