CLINTWOOD, VA. JUNE 14, 2022

Aden Joseph Wayne Daye, 15, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
He loved hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, four wheeling, swimming, working on cars and football. He loved spending one on one time together with his dad and learning new things, like how to climb a tree. He enjoyed spending time with his fiancé', Emily Jo Fogarty. He was special, he had the biggest heart and the friends he made they were friends for life.
Aden was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Edith Church; great aunt, Debra Wireman; great uncle, Ricky Ledford; grandmother, Bethal Ann Cantrell Hulett; grandfather, Jamie Farrell Daye; paternal great-grand mother, Shirley Daye.
Surviving are his parents, Joe and Felicite Daye; brothers, Jaxon and Creedon; grandmother Lisa Ledford; grandfather, Eddie Church; great-grandfather, Donald D. Cantrell, Sr.; grandmother, Toni Pert; special aunt, Chasta Honaker and husband Andrew; cousins, Jacey, Waylon, Jonah, Kriston, Lindsey and Lillie; uncles, Josh, Justin, Chris and wife Janice; special friends, family and a host of other relatives.
His little brother Jaxon says "he his big, fun, funny and most protective brother he will ever have". His baby brother Creeden looked up to his big brother. Family above all was Aden's life.
We WILL see him again.
Services for Aden Day will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA with Pastor Clifton Cauthorne officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery, Norton, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022
