Abbie Joyce Martin Robinette Mullins, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia after a brief illness.

She was a devoted Christian and attended Living Waters Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Gladys Hensley Martin; her first husband, Bill Robinette; her second husband, Cecil Mullins; and three brothers, Buford Martin, Bruce Martin and Eddie Martin.

Surviving are her brother, Jerry Martin and wife Brigid; two stepsons, Ricky Mullins and wife Terry and Randy Mullins and wife Loretta; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one due in September; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kathy and Charles Mullins.

Funeral services for Abbie Joyce Mullins will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Roger Roberts and Pastor Ricky Mullins officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 18, 2024 in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, Virginia. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 A.M.
